What follows behind the cut is the reply I received after sending an email to one of the state's Senators. The reply, albeit in some spots a bit generic, addresses every concern I raised.
I dunno, it's just nice to see communication, and I figured it was worth sharing for some of the interested parties. Let it be a reminder that it isn't useless to speak out. Once in awhile, people are listening.

Pay Attention
I don't normally link to other blogs, or post content that belongs to someone else.
I do enjoy the reality that I can, if I like, post pictures and videos and lyrics without fear of reprisal.
One of the bills being discussed in Congress -RIGHT NOW- has the very real potential to end that.
If you use YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Blogspot, or -any- similar website...read this article, and consider listening to the video I've shared.
Then? Contact your Congressmen. Now. This is not okay.
I don't like getting on a political soapbox at all, but this cannot happen.
